The Universe: The Complete Season One is available on a set of 4 DVDs or 3 Blu-ray disks with a total run time of 705 minutes. In this show the topics discussed range from ancient attempts to map the Universe, to modern scientific understandings of the wonders of Solar System, faraway stars, galaxies, etc.

The Universe Season 1 has 13 episodes (44 minutes each) plus a bonus, 90-minute "Beyond The Big Bang" episode. Complex concepts and theories are explained by relating them to easily graspable concepts. The visuals are awesome.
